Reach-in display coolers and freezers

Front-loading glass door coolers and freezers, from four doors to as many as your wall will take, each one built to your specifications — cooler or freezer, glass door or solid door.

Quick answer

A reach-in display cooler or freezer is a front-loading glass-door cold box sized to the wall it goes on. We build to meet your needs — from four doors to an infinite number of glass doors — and each reach-in is built to your specifications.

Cooler or freezer, glass door or solid door. Insulated panels, heated glass doors and a refrigeration system matched to the door count and the temperature.

Built to your specifications

Your wall, your door count, your temperature

  • 4 glass doors and up — no upper limit; the run is built to the wall.
  • Cooler or freezer. A freezer reach-in gets the insulated floor, the door heater and the electric defrost every freezer we build includes.
  • Glass or solid doors — glass to sell from, solid where it is storage for the station.
  • Heated glass doors, quoted and sold with the box, with LED lighting and shelving available.
  • Matched refrigeration — remote or self-contained, sized to the glass and the temperature. See the catalogue.
  • Panels: 4″ insulation, 2009 EISA compliant, 26 gauge stucco-embossed Acrylume inside and out. Tongue-and-groove, cam-lock action, no wood perimeter, NSF Listed.

Which one

Reach-in or display walk-in?

Both put glass doors in front of the customer. The difference is what is behind the glass.

Reach-inThe box is only as deep as the shelving. It goes where a walk-in will not fit — a station on the line, a short wall, a corner — and is restocked through the doors.
Display walk-inA full walk-in cooler behind the doors, restocked from inside, with room for backstock and a beer cave if you want one. See display walk-ins →

Reach-In Coolers & Freezers FAQ

How many doors can a reach-in have?

From four doors up, with no upper limit — the run is built to your wall, and each one is built to your specifications rather than picked from a shelf.

Can I have cooler and freezer doors in the same run?

Yes. Each temperature is its own insulated box with its own refrigeration, built as one run along the wall. Tell us how many doors of each and we will draw it.

Which glass doors do you use?

The best-known heated glass doors in the industry, quoted and sold with the reach-in. LED lighting and shelving are available.

What do you need from me for a quote?

The wall length, the height, the depth you can give up, how many doors, and whether it is a cooler, a freezer or both. A photo of the wall helps. You get a dimensioned approval drawing to sign off before anything is built.

How many doors does your wall take?

Send the wall length, the height and the door count you have in mind. We will draw the run and put a real number on it.
